Traditional style console desk, designed by Mark for multiple uses - primarily designed to be a small desk for working on a laptop, which can be cleared away in one of the drawers at the end of the working day - this allows the piece to become a decorative item when not used - the desktop is made from solid Hard Maple finished in a hard wax oil & the base & drawers are pine construction (milled from our private woodland) painted in Farrow & Ball Hague Blue - bespoke joinery, including solid walnut “bow tie” detail, a traditional joinery method to reinforce a crack in the timber. Drawers are on a soft close mechanism, and have vintage metal cup handles
